Forks is my home! After 20 years of living in Easton, my wife Sandra and I bought a home in Forks. That was in 2001.
Our daughter Julia graduated from EAHS. Go Red Rovers!! I am a local businessman and a concerned Forks resident! As such, I started attending Forks Township Supervisors' and Planning Commission meetings. It is important to me and to my family that Forks issues are addressed including schools, commuting roads, a healthy economy, and recreation for all ages.
In 2005 I was appointed by the Board of Supervisors to fill a vacancy on the Planning Commission.
The Planning Commission studies projects presented to them by developers. Determining the practicality and viability of developers’ plans under Forks’ building and zoning codes is a multifaceted task.
My experience on the Planning Commission clearly showed me that poorly planned development adversely impacts our police, fire, EMS, roads and schools.
This is no small issue in Forks Township. Anticipated residential growth will place substantial burdens on local government’s ability to serve Fork’s residents and to maintain our (mine and yours) quality of life.
I want to protect our township infrastructure so that all Forks residents can be assured of the best level of services possible. I will focus on the promotion of sensible and sustainable commercial development in order to increase tax revenues without further burdening on our school system - and our wallets!
I look forward to serving the citizens of Forks Township.
